People keep saying this. They have ran from the mbuemo deal cos he wavts 250k, thats what these players want and if you are in the champions league then expect to pay it. Even more so when you’re wanting to tell every man and his dog you're the richest team in the world.

 

They are owned by an investment fund, they have to make money as a club.

I can't believe they didn't realize that they can't just spend what the hell they like, on whoever they want. Or that other clubs would demand a higher fee knowing that their owners had limitless cash.
