imo Sunderland and Swansea are must win games, not play well and show heart and ultimately draw games but WIN. if we don't we're staring at a relegation battle. we're not gonna get anything from utd or arsenal that's for certain.

Having been the best team in the Champ last season with easily the best player in th league too, it's disappointing that the two teams that came up with us seem more comfortable at this level and that the player who got us up no longer features. I think we're relying on the transfer window to turn things around. I fear it may take a bit more than that!!!!!

Inkedupp how can we expect to beat Swansea, they almost always win at home. I expect a point v Sunderland and then it's up to how we perform in the New Year as I dont expect anything from manure and arsenal. Not getting relegated will be a real achievement...

Others have said this but Cerny is my choice for MOM, too. And 3rd string?

What, thuogh, is with Suarez' histrionics when he shoots high or wide?

North, you're refusal to let anyone post a thread criticizing Warnock is getting past a joke now!

Always thought we'd struggle up there, especially after the injury to HH. Our bench looked so Championship didn't it. I know I'll get slated, but we're slipping boys!!

yep. We're finished. Can't see the point in going to games. Can't even see the point of posting things on here.

Warnock is rubbish, so are the team. Lots of teams are better than us. Our star player from last year is a merchant banker.

Let's all call it a day, shall we?

Yeah...that's all very clever Eamon. But we are entitled to give our opinions, even if it means, GOD FORBID, being critical of NW and the players.

We aren't finished and I fully expect a fine win against Man Utd next week followed by a thumping of Sunderland the Wednesday after that ... 3 points Boxing Day and then off to Mexico on NYE when I land I expect to have beaten the Arse ... Back at end of Jan to see all is well and we are still in the FA cup as I expect to win that as well
Adel starts playing again and Barton leaves to become a priest

It's all rubbish not been the same since Elvis died i must chastise myself now with a wet sea bass on the testicles ... I have sinned father

    Dear Santa Warnock,
I have been a good little boy all year (I promise!). For Christmas - or January to be more precise - please could I have a top-class creative midfielder, a world class striker and a top-notch centre half.
    Yours etc.

    Won't be a creative midfielder arriving, that's Barton's position.

Rangercol, to clarify I really don't rate Barton as a player. But it seems he can do what he wants at Rangers and the team must follow him...i want to be proved wrong but I think it was a mistake to sign him.

Agreed mate. And I know a lot on here love to run Adel down, but I believe Barton's arrival has had a hugely detrimental affect on Taarabt's form and confidence! Also, Barton himself has been very average which makes it a double whammy imo!!

Worst decision made by Warnock sucking up to Barton and not to Taarabt.

We need Adel and Joey playing well together, Joey defensive midfield, Adel further forward in the middle of a 3. Can't be that difficult, they don't have to get married! But thats not looking likely now unfortunately. Cerny was man of the match for me, and should keep his place when Paddy's back if he goes on like that.

If only Barton could live up to his own hype. He wants to be the creative player of the team, isn't that why things went sour at Newcastle.

Two points: 1) It really grates, the amount of respect people show Sniverpool when they are just a decent side. Its not like going to Utd, City, Arsenal. Even Chelsea. They are perennial chokers at home against the minnows and haven't won the Prem in their history. They are not to be feared as Swans and Norwich have proved already.

    2) Warnock said as much before the game and said he was sending the boys up to have a right go. Instead he bottled it and ordered them to sit in, in the vain hope of snatching a point. He lied to the fans and the way he sent that team out against the Mickey Mouse Scouse was disrespectful to the Club and the League. Two poor performances from COLIN in the last two games. I hope he recovers his nerve in time for United.
