They spent ridiculous amounts to win promotion last season, most clubs can't compete against it at L1 level, maybe your Bolton and Wrexham, but that's about it. Charlton got promoted on probably a third of Birmingham's wage bill.
Think Brum will be in financial trouble if they don't go up within 2-3 years. I think Wrexham are being over hyped for this season and won't be near play offs.
If the investment achieves the end goal, then maybe it is worth it for their owners, but if it goes tits up with that amount of financial commitment it will be the fans as always that will suffer and no one will come to their rescue when the tears flow.
The Brum chairman as now bought 127 acres of land around the area where the new ground is going. If his plans come off, and he seems to have the city council in his pocket, so no reason why not, then it will be impressive. Yesterday's announcement of the new railway links is perfect for them. Don't think Wrexham have the same clout or potential
I think they'll get playoffs but not promoted same with Birmingham, season after they'll both go close.
Be surprised if they both reached play offs. You'd expect Sheffield United to and at least 2 of the relegated sides so that'd require them finishing above everyone else.

Just got in. Nice little game to stream and mong out on the sofa to after a long day. Some great players on show if they can be arsed with it which despite the evidence of yesterday I’m convinced they aren’t really.
