TBH does it matter whether they are gems/established/youth etc. As long as we sign a starting GK, a RCB, a RW and a second (choice) CF I'll be happy. Just throwing it out there as well if Longy and Willock go, would it be a smart move to try and buy back Anderson. The lads Homegrown and can cover both wings, CM, CAM etc.
Fingers crossed we did because he's going to be a top EPL player! Another slightly weird one - and I'd only be REALLY interested if he counts toward homegrown - Mitrovic as that second striker would offer something entirely different to Isak (was chugging along at better than a goal every 2 games for Fulham a few years back so can find the net in the EPL) and loves the club as well. Linked to Man U today but worth a look at surely.
Just think against low block teams it would be amazing to have him up top battering CB's everywhere where as Isak is best when he has a bit of space to run at defenders.
Unless Fernandes rejects it of course And now they're stuck with Sancho for the foreseeable too, a good day.
Was going to post that but his wages might be an issue Everton, Manchester United and West Ham could make a move for Serbia striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, with Al-Hilal prepared to offload the 30-year-old. (Talksport) Would love to see him back,CL might sway him as none of the rumoured are in Europe!
Krul, Anderson and Mitrovic! Had enough of this nonsense - bring back Ashley, at least we all knew where we stood under him.
Sky Sports reporting our primary targets for this window are Joao Pedro, Marc Guehi, James Trafford and a "young CM". Yes, that's right - three players we've bid for in the past couple of years, and someone to keep Miley company. Is there an easier job in football than being a Newcastle "scout"?
