I agree, he’s way too English and softly spoken …

… not what their supporters admire and his honeymoon period would be brief.

 

He will need to play at a higher tempo, teams just sit in against rangers and his teams always struggle to break those teams down

The Coventry supporters have whipped themselves up into a frenzy about next season.

They're convinced their dazzling form, under Lampard, will carry on and guarantee them top two or, at least, the playoffs again.

They forget their defeats to Luton, Plymouth, etc and their lucky 1-0 wins against the likes of Portsmouth.

They're really not very good but believe Sunderland cheated them, out of the final, by scoring more goals than them

 

Lampard has a track record of not being able to sustain it.

They won’t go up.

I put my 'Smug curse' on Luton last season and have chosen Coventry this time ...

... I've decided they'll finish in the bottom half and will have a few quid on it.

What on earth has he agreed to that for. I struggle to think of any reason he would pick that particular job. Shudder.
