Jobe doesn't want to be compared to his Brother..... as he's on the verge of signing for Dortmund. Good luck whatever happens. He'll always be a Til the ender. ps, slightly perplexed as to why he doesn't fancy a crack at the Premier League. Perhaps the money we're getting is too good to turn down.
I'm now completely against the Henderson signing (purely from a footballing perspective). That's not to say I won't support him fully if / when he comes in. I just don't agree with it. I also didn't agree with making Luke O'Nien a centre back so lets not take my opinion too seriously.
Can't remember where I seen it but I'm sure I saw something about their parents not being keen on them playing in the PL because of the media in the UK. Probably bollocks like but is strange that neither of them have went to the PL
Still doesn't make much sense to me. On the wages he'll be on purely as backup doesn't suggest good business. Not saying this would bother RLB as he doesn't seem to care for outside opinions but you just know fans will be demanding Henderson to start. I watched more Ajax stuff yesterday to try and change my opinion but it's only made it worse, he's bad.
Aye he’s only 19/20 ain’t he. Got the upside potential we look for. Chotard a bit older and lost his way a bit but can play.
I think they have a real concern about the British media comparing him to Jude. Which as you say makes it even more complexing he's going to a place that will compare him to Jude. I also think they didn't want him having a premier league relegation on his CV. What's best for his CV for 25/26 - a premier league relegation or a champions league campaign? Plus he gets to leave us as a hero rather than risk turning into a villain if things go sour next season. Taking my sunderland goggles off, moving to a champions league club that are likely to give him plenty of starts is a no brainer. What's pretty surprising for me is that he's chosen Dortmund and taken the one route he should have probably avoided.
Looked good season before last but impossible to look good in that horrible Montpellier side in the one just gone.
FM wonderkid Would say he's well out of our reach as I'm sure Man Utd wanted him last year. I said ELF was out of our reach as well mind.
The more I think about it, the more i think Dan Neil is holding our midfield back from being very good with the right recruitment and more balanced
Aye. Absolutely baffling how bad they were. Man for man squad looked solid and more like a top 10 side. Started bad, got worse, never improved. Individuallyvthey have a good few good players, decent RB name escapees me Cameroonian I think.
My only concern about Montpellier players is that like them we are probably going to be in a relegation scrap, and they just totally downed tools. Was pretty embarrassing at times.
