APR and BPR hikes will end up costing the Treasury more than they raise: Anticipated economic costs include Gross Value Added loss of £14.8 billion by April 2030. Includes the loss of 208,500 jobs by 2030. 55% of family firms + 49% of family farms have paused or canceled planned investments That’s a 16% average decrease in investment. Almost half of family businesses predict reduction in headcount – average decline of 9% in employment. Agriculture and horticulture firms foresee average turnover reduction of 11%, while real estate and construction sectors expect 9% reduction. Employment in construction, manufacturing, and accommodation sectors to decrease by circa 11%. Of the predicted 208,000 job losses 180,000 will take place in family firms – 0.7% of all UK jobs. 28,000 job losses will occur in the farming sector, an 8.% decrease in sector employment. Most startlingly the analysis estimates the net fiscal impact of the tax changes will reduce Treasury tax revenues by £1.9 billion, which is just above the £1.8 billion the Treasury optimistically claims it will raise by 2030. You are either really really stupid or you don't live in England. There is no other reason i can think of for you finding Starmers actions as funny.
It's tears of pain. They've spent over ten years blubbing about the tories and denying all of the things we predicted, and claiming Labour would be the great knights riding in to save us, and getting salty when we all said it'd be fun watching the scales fall off their eyes. It just shows how much the taunts hurt them right to their innards, and how much the light of reality shining in is hurting as the **** ups are relentless.
Except the number of times they try to avoid the reality of Starmer's incessant **** ups, and the impact it has on people. They're not really finding the virtue they hope to signal. Instead, they confirm the comments about them with every post. Trying to claim it's everyone else that's sad and obsessed, when they loiter here in the hope they can change history is a text book example of mirroring and projection.
The sad sack is trying to replicate what they received over the years, and failing very badly at it because they're simply not genuine, sincere or informed. It doesn't help that they're still stuck in the fantasy version of posters that they tried (and failed) to create, and just can't let go of it. Each post of theirs simply confirms this. It's sad, but there it is.
