My one niggling doubt is the Bellinghams are intelligent, canny operators. They were our friends when that meant Sunderland were the best club for him. Now they’ve decided it’s Dortmund.

Jobe is in the u21 squad for the euros so there’s no guarantees he’ll even go to the club World Cup. This might drag on longer.

 

I'll be extremely disappointed if Henderson is the direct Jobe replacement.

I think we'll drop Enzo deeper into Jobe's position (like in the playoff final), bring in a real creative player for the 10 role and a physical player in the deeper midfield spot.
