Sunderland fans are like a **** boxer sounding off before heading into a fight with prime Mike Tyson.

and that mate, is the beauty of the mackems. Always in our shadow… always getting inflated feelings of grandeur.. always getting knocked off their perch. The joy is in the fall….

One quote caught my eye on their transfer window thread
“Im concentrating on making it 8 in a row”
Aye keep on concentrating you muppet!!

I've seen some refer to it as "unbeaten against them in the last 8 league games", which nicely ignores the hammering we gave them in the FA Cup, and the fact we finished above them ever season they beat us, apart from the one where they stayed up and we went down due to them getting a man advantage and an incorrect penalty in their game against us which was converted by a nonce they were standing by.

Are they still including the womens game as well is their straw clutching?

This season will be joyous. Bruno will have the lads well fired up for the games and I want to see then dismantled in live TV's and lots of tears from them.

I assume it'll be like Soton this year and Sheffield Utd the year before, ie we'll dismantle them in our sleep.

I wonder if they'll go on a recruitment drive like in 2008 when they spend a ****tonne (back then) on the likes of Michael Chopra, Craig Gordon, Kenwyne Jones and Andy Reid.
