You're correct of course about the points tally but that was with a manager who had lost the plot who has now been replaced. Pardew has now got to stop a rot which only 3 weeks ago didn't exist. You also now have several injuries to key players and with a poor squad outside a decent first 12 or 13, if you lose next weekend, the arse cheeks will be putting. We have a new manager with a proven history and he will certainly get more from the squad we have. We may be 3rd bottom and 7th top respectively but I have a feeling that gap is about to close starting tomorrow.
