It appears today hes forgot how to play. I have defended him in the past but hes providing nothing at all today.

    Hes not working back much.
    No final ball.
    Backing out of tackles.
The pace.... where is it as Im not seeing him run.
    His passing is suspect.

    I could go on.

Now I know we have nothing else on the bench but my point is how long do we give him. He should be up to speed now.

More frustrating than Robert used to be but he had something in the locker!

    argh!

I have defended our oval headed right winger but I just can't anymore. He is woeful at best. Mind you the whole team was shocking today apart from Ba. Shola needs shooting too

Ameobi wasn't bad today. Why do people feel the need to have a go at him?

This... ive defended him beginning of the season.. he has the ability but he reminds me of a child playing his first game of football. does all the running around then soon as the ball gets to him he has a panic attack... the guy is fast as **** but soon as the ball goes to him all the momentum goes. he obviously has confidence issues think we should loan him out and give sammy a run in the first team.

Sounds like your equivalent of Elmohammady, pace to burn but does nothing with it.

This, he was far off being our worst player today.

He even got the assist which could of got us back in it.

Shola was good, setup Ba and give Ba a really good chance. Held the ball up very well and his passing was pretty good.

Excellent comparison actually. 1 game in 10 he'll do something really good, but most of the time...

Also Shola did quite a good impression of Sammy for a while, creating Ba's goal etc. He's better than some are suggesting. Interestingly, I know a guy who is mates with the Ameobi family, used to have a kick about with them. He reckons that Sammy has always been the most talented, Tomi the least, and Shola about half way between...

I made this thread at half time based on the 1st half and to be fair in the 2nd half he was better.

But GOSLING.... Jesus... has he had a good game for us.

The problem for me is we keep getting these players who have potential but theres nothing coming from them.

    Santon did ok.

But lets be honest, we just conceded 4 goals against Norwich.

Reality check...... NORWICH.... And can I just say that Holt who scored 2 is from Carlisle (and I grew up playing footy with him and the fact that hes scored two goals against my beloved is breaking my heart) must be thinking all his christmases came at once today.

The cracks are showing and we have now conceded more goals in the last 4 games than we have in the rest of the season.

Oh god wheres my revolved I am going for a walk in the woods!

Start HBA or Sammy on the left wing next game.

Sammy did put 2-3 good crosses in when he came on and HBA, well he cannot do worse then Obershite.

I have to say I think Ober is ****. All this 'keep playing him because we don't want to dent his confidence' nonsense has worn thin. He's not good enough, so don't play the gangly prick. I couldn't give a **** if it upsets him, he seems to have no problem upsetting me by playing like a twat week after week.
