Even a broken watch is right twice a day

DCL is clart. I refer you to any post referencing Harvey Barnes.

Why we would he choose Newcastle knowing he probably won't be 1st choice and bigger clubs are interested?

Mate just stating facts. Tell me a window when we’ve actually signed enough players for the positions that need filling?

All objective I suppose, I think we need a GK, RCB, RW for the first team and a full back, cm and cf upgrade on the likes of Targett, Longstaff and Wilson.

Liverpool always seem to get it right in terms of sorting their transfer business early.

    Frimpong already agreed.
    Wirtz deal looks fairly close.
Apparently in advanced talks with Kirkez.
Marma already signed last season, ready to step in.

It's not always possible and important to not simply fill positions with third or fourth choice players. If you keep doing that you'll be ****. Couple that with psr restrictions and the fact players aren't bought off a shelf and it's easy to understand.

Where did I say I didn’t understand? Where did I say third or fourth? Wilson and Longstaff have repeatedly been on first, so second choice.

Can anyone here imagine a time when the club signs players as good as Frimping and Wirtz before a window even opens?

All this noise about moving fast. We’ll be lucky to have a new first team player before deadline day.

    Cunha, Delap, Zubamendi, Frimpong, Wirtz.

That’s Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool. Villa announced some expensive teenager. City are in talks with a number of high profile players. It just feels like we rumble about being at the top table, that the big6 is no more, that CL qualification is a springboard (again) yet we don’t seem to move any quicker than we did under Ashley or Shepherd.

Latest rumour I read about was Jack Rudoni. No, me neither.

I tell you what makes no ****ing sense. Since the takeover we’ve had one exciting window, maybe two tops. We hadn’t qualified for the champs league on either occasion. Why have we been so ****ing dull when we’ve had something to sell (in terms of the future of the club)?
