I can't see us winning a game without them in the side, really.

  2. Right, so we lose a game whilst playing 4 fullbacks and that means we can't win a game without Colo and Saylor <doh>

Any side playing without proper CB's would suffer the same result.

We have Colo and Willo coming back soon.

Keep hope and stop with the negative threads ffs

With Colo or Williamson, we'll win some, but there was no leadership in that defence.

Both are a miss but I think when Colo's fit he sures the defense up no matter who's beside him, and his organisation definitely wouldn't of allowed them 4 goals from set pieces today.

    Too much.

Pardew/ Ashley ****ed up big time thinking Colo, Taylor would last a whole season. Considering Williamson was injured as well, Kadar is ****e, perch is ****e.

i can't see us winning a game with no CBs nevermind without those 2 this injury crisis has highlighted the need for CB maybe 2 in jan even if one is on loan.all i can say is pardew must not rate kadar very highly to play 3 RBs ahead of him, best move on lad you've got no chance here.

You actually are a ****ing ****** tash. isn't that the exact point I made? Without Colla and Saylor I don't see us winning a game. I don't see Williamson as a great solution either. What a ****ing spacker.

We do rely on them a lot, because the defence looked out of their depth today.

Worst I've felt as a Newcastle fan for a while. I wasn't gutted last week as I thought we'd sort it out today but we were ****. We need defensive cover in January or we won't be going eleven games undefeated for a while!

I'm finding it hard to have any optimism now.

Shock horror we struggle when all our CBs are injured. Every team would. <doh>

Once Colo and Williamson are back we will be fine.

  12. No, you said without Colo and Saylor you can't see us winning a game, where as I disagreed. We can still win without Saylor, Coloccini is the main player we need back.

With him in the side we can get results, and Williamson is a good defender. Not as good as Saylor but miles better than Perch and Simmo out of position.

If we can do that with 2 fully fit centre backs, I'll be a much more happy man. Also I'm disgusted to see Gosling in a Newcastle shirt, he is **** <laugh>

i think in theory if we had kadar and willo at CB today, we would have won.. we had 0 aerial defence today that was our downfall.. i dont know why kadar wasnt in and obviously willo still injured but thats why we lost today.. we had 4 fullbacks as a defence.. CB have to be priority now for january and a striker.

Remeber back on deadline day when we were all bemoaning us not signing a no9?

Was I the only one who was more angry that we didn't sign any centre-backs?

  19. He's not great in the air, but he's quite good. He;s 6ft 4 and can win quite a lot.

Still, I think Colo is the greatest loss, but once we get Colo and Willo back fit then I think we'll be ok.

Exactly, so if Coloccini played, we wouldn't be without Coloccini and Taylor would we <doh>
