When they used to be 2p and a proper size

but I raise you a taz, Freddo with caramel in

where do we stand on Malteasers?
The Taz bar was another 10p staple of my visit to the "Icey" when the van used to come round the doors. Great cartoon character as well. Never understood a word he said <laugh>

Hold the press. There is a big mover. We have a shout from my 88 year old Dad. It has knocked the wind out of my sails.

Caramac.

Sweet and sickly. But you cant leave it uneaten. Late entry to the challengers at the top.
Good call. Caramac would be the 1970s Leeds United of chocolate bars. Divides people, some hate, some love, grudging admired. Personally I loved a caramac as a kid, but my brother hated them.

It's not for me but there is a lad at work who has a bar of Caramac in a glass frame with a little toffee hammer next to it and a sign saying 'break glass in case of emergency'. It's from when they announced they were discontinuing it. I'll get a pic on Monday. <laugh>

Anyone remember one called Cabana?, used to ove them.

Aldi do a version of Frys Chocolate Creme and Turkish delight, but in Cadburys dairy milk style bars. Chocolate, but with a bit of filling in the centre, both really nice.
