Some Portuguese guy who came second to Bulut last time around - that doesn't say a lot.

 

Hope not if he came second last time. Hardly going to inspire fans' confidence and generate more st sales which are over 7k now.

WOL are saying that the deadline for the new manager is tomorrow. I didn’t know there was a deadline.

 

The board said they'd announce a new manager by the end of the month.
Which is tomorrow.
A self imposed deadline.

 

But not a real deadline

 

Just like Tan's deadline of 'getting promoted at the earliest opportunity'.

I see there's a lot of chit-chat on the wires about Nathan Jones. Take this for what it's worth but I was told yesterday to put some money on @33/1.

If you believe what's going around, the delay in is because City (through Dalman) are negotiating a compensation payment with Charlton to release him from his contract.

Dalman has good connections at the club which he agreed to buy himself a few years back before his deal was gazumped and he pulled out. The current owners are not the gazumpers at that time and they are willing to listen if Jones wants out.
