Is manager salary included in PSR calculation? 2M per year is more than Abdus, makes him the most paid employee.

It’s a shame that teams don’t seem to coach individually as much as ‘team’ . Our younger forwards always seem to fail in areas you’d expect to have them do ok if they’ve got to this level . I assume it’s broad brush coaching and not single player skill specific. Id suggest :
Movement
Holding the ball up and laying it off
Heading
Crossing
Passing first time / touch

£2m pa, is that the going rate for a bottom end championship manager?
Liam Manning's release fee at Bristol City is reported to be 800k, pure guesswork but if it's a years salary no wonder he's interested in the Norwich job. :emoticon-0138-think

Really hope so. Genuinely want him to be a success, just don't think he's got the technical ability to be a footballer at this level and his decision making is rubbish (but this can improve with age).
I think he’s lacking in confidence and has made some poor in game decisions but I have seen a few instances where he’s shown signs that he has got something, notably in what I think was his first game for us when he got on the end of an incoming cross and used his chest to nudge the ball between two defenders before poking the ball towards goal and the keeper made a good save to thwart him. The other was that fabulous crossfield ball to set Kamara away to score with the lob against Leeds.

That’s right he is young and can improve.

What is it about him you think shows great potential? He can strike a ball. What else? I see nothing in him and it looks like 2 or 3 managers felt the same despite being desperate for someone to score goals!

He has speed he does have skill and he can shoot, issue is because of the position the club was in Selles and Walter did not use him as much because they tried to rely on older heads to scared to make the decision and go for it, if they had we could have had not so much worry at the end of the season.

... and that goal v Swansea. Cracking effort.

It’s obvious we do need a experienced striker like Mcburnie but it is also obvious we do have younger players who have the potential to play and improve hopefully this Jak guy can also see that, we had a goal problem last season but if we had actually played Joseph in the striker role and give burstow more of a chance and put trust in them both I think they would both become good for the club.

Surely we could have got a more proven manager paying that salary.
I’m all for giving him a chance (we as fans don’t have a choice).
I’d like to know what the club see in him that they didn’t see in in others. I’d like to hear it from someone other than Acun.

It is a lot for not the first choice as manager :emoticon-0138-think.
