    Same here mate.

I might be biased but I think we've got the best chance of the 3 of staying up. Definitely better than Burnley.

Add some more pace and power and we'll have a fighting chance.

We'll definitely get Palace away on Monday night football.

    Always do

I’d say Leeds have the best chance of survival but it all depends on signings, as always

The concern i have with Leeds, is they were at their best being really attacking last season but they can't do that in the PL

As you signings are keen for all the teams, impossible to tell at this stage who is in the best position

1 of the promoted teams will stay up this season imo

It might be red and white tinted glasses, but of all 3 teams I feel we are better set up to sit in and hit teams on the counter.

If we get the signings right and add to the pace we already have I think we stand a brilliant chance of staying up

That's not right. 26 points would have kept you up if you could insert a 21st team into the league, but that's not how it works. Leicester would have needed 39 points (or 38 and a massive GD swing) to stay up last season. Spurs finished 17th and you can almost guarantee they'll be nowhere near the bottom of the table next season, which means our target is Wolves who finished on 42 points.

We will most likely need at least 40 points, and that line may actually be getting even higher as the gap between the Prem and Championship grows. It's a very real possibility that all the established PL teams finish on 45+ points next year.

Make no mistake, it's a huge ask for us to stay up next season.

Last 2 years outliers because of poor recruitment?

The "midtable" becoming too strong for promoted teams to compete with?

Is the gap just too big?

    Great map.

Insane that 3 of the 4 most northern teams are the newly promoted ones, makes for a much better geographic balance. Would be healthy to see a couple of London teams drop out for a Bristol and Boro/Hull type.

that’s right. Sky acting like they’ve got loads of extra games, and they have, but it’s mostly concurrent games like the ones Amazon showed. So there’s not actually much benefit for the consumer. Watch the prices lifted up tho.

Yep. And that's with the teams above the bottom three easing of the gas early knowing their season was done.

But it's there to have a pop at, and we should enjoy it.

Really interesting this. Huge part of Klopps success at Liverpool, didn't work out for him at Salzburg but maybe he's more suited to being an assistant. Really recommend his book for anyone interested in coaching.
