Update - More injured than initially reported but thankfully all are recovering well. That's the best bit of news today. I was waiting for the "all" part.

Drove through the road-block behind an ambulance as well, so clear intent there.

Coked up and just determined to go where he wanted.

Blaming people for slapping a car that drive into them is the most disgusting **** going.

He wasn't scared he was off his head

What is sad is thst the second someone in the police said all doing well the media have moved on.

It's no longer gory enough to keep the attention of certain elements and others have already decided this is the fault of elements of the crowd not him.

The victims are forgotten. Their injuries cannot all be minor, there could be serious head or sinal injuries or crush or burns. We simply don't know but human nature is what it is.

Someone told us they are OK so we put any thoughts out of our minds and they have to get on with it.

I presume of someone ends up in a wheelchair his insurance (if he had any) won't pay out.

This is just the world as it is today.

    Big story.

Salacious rumour mongering and suppositions and blame until something comes out.

    Story forgotten.

    Victims forgotten

If for some reason his insurance does not pay out, or he is uninsured, then the Motor Insurance Bureau step in and will meet the injured parties claim. They will then recover the money from the driver, including putting an order on any property he owns so that if he sells any property they get the money. The MIB was set up to ensure injured parties did not lose out if a driver is uninsured for any reason. Everyone who does insure has about £5 within their premium which goes to the MIB. Each insurer pays an amount depending on the size of their book of motor business. The MIB was set up by insurance companies so that any innocent injured party was compensated.

Both the BBC and the Guardian websites still have dedicated live pages.

I’ve not seen anyone anywhere blame the number of fans being there over a guy that drove into them? I highly doubt anyone is actually blaming fans over a guy in the car?!

victims haven’t been forgotten. Still front pages of both bbc and sky website

I have. Some people trying to make out he just got scared and his car was hit before anyone actually was hurt.

Even some making out his rear window was put in as the start of it.

Real shameful stuff, making up facts off videos

I suppose it depends where you look. I'd never look on Facebook or Twatter for my insight into anything.
I believe you when you say there are trolls already making cretinous comments and trying to blame the victims. I've expected that since shortly after it happened, and there are some absolute ****ers out there.
I'd always look to places like the much maligned BBC - it's slow and cautious, but for those reasons alone it's more likely to be reliable.

Is he covered for being sued in a civil court? As I rather expect he'll have hundreds of claims against him from the victims. I presume a lawyer will be busy putting his home into a trust or solely into his Mrs' name as we speak.

There is, in the normal sewer of X, but people like me who go on there should know that ****e happens. I've tried not to post any of the ****e like that arsehole 'comedian' for that reason. They (you know who I mean) were bound to find another stereotype to aim their clickbait on when they realised it wasn't what they really hoped it would be.

You can literally see him reverse at speed into someone before his rear window got put through. At that point, had I been there I would have thought that this maniac/terrorist needs to be stopped at any cost.

Yes I know but some people decide after one video and start making things up.

I agree with you. Anyone there who tried to stop a car acting erratically around a massive crowd had to have been wondering if he was a nut out to kill hundreds.

But some people will make ****e up to suit themselves. He was scared, he didn't mean it, it's the crowds fault. Etc.

    I've seen that too.

I imagine it would be quite scary sat in a car surrounded by thousands and your car is being hit so you could apply some logic to that angle. However, footage clearly shows the **** diverting the car TOWARDS the crowd! Scared and panicking is one thing, to deliberately aim the car at people is another.

Reality is, he shouldn't have been there to start with. And even if fans did attack the car (why wouldn't they if threatened?), the driver is still 100% at fault.

Least the **** got some much deserved hammer before the police got to him!

If MIB step in they sort out payments to anyone affected, they then add them up and go after the person responsible for the injuries. The firm I used to work for had a contract with MIB at one time and we had to go and take statements from the drivers responsible. We had to explain that MIB would pay up as they were not insured, the drivers usually looked very happy until you told them they had to reimburse the MIB with deductions from wages if they were employed and court orders on any property they owned including any property or money they came into in future years until they had paid the debt back.

A lot of them were real lowlifes who would never have two pennies to rub together.

Already seen some rubbish online saying the Police are covering up the fact the driver was a Muslim and the video of the driver when the door of the car is opened is fake. God knows how such people get through life if they see a conspiracy theory behind everything and assume everything is fake and fed to us by the Illuminati.
