Launched into space by a £150k kid none of the 'show some ambition' supporters had ever heard of ...

... and, let's not forget, a player called out as 'shyte' on here and elsewhere.

I've no idea why it's so hard to, just sometimes, have faith in the people at the club.

    That's not a dig, I genuinely don't get it.

Mad isn’t it. There was still someone on here few days back saying ‘after that horrific window’

Close to £80million gained that window. If Mayenda steps up in PL could add 30 more to that.

I think I've mentioned it before, the players were genuinely surprised, hurt and disappointed by some of the reactions they've received from the home fans - the Plymouth half time booing in particular.

The club deserves all the praise they are getting TBF. Got it as right this season with the coach and the recruitment as they got it wrong with Beale and the PR fiasco last season.

The PR this end of season has been quality. They've definitely improved things bigstyle on and off the pitch.

There'll be a mix of 'well they should be able to take it' and 'well I pay my money so I can do what I want' in response to that. However, we've absolutely seen what the fans can do when they just get behind the lads and don't waver. The evidence is there. No excuses and weasel words will cut it from now tbh. And this group of players 100% deserve that level of backing.

Haven't caught up with all the vids yet but can anyone answer this simple question...
Did the Sheffield players acknowledge their fans after the game or had they already left to catch the last bus home?
So strange seeing one half of the stadium packed out, as you'd expect whilst the other half was full of tumbleweed.

We've come a long way from the likes of Jack Rodwell to players like Le Fee. He seems genuinely over the moon to be staying here, surrounded by like minded players who would run through a brick wall for the club.

    Very exciting times.

I took photos, with the time on screen, with five minutes past the final whistle for a Sheff Utd mate who watched on TV ...

... their players had no one left to acknowledge tbh.

I thought their fans were pretty poor all round.

One of their vloggers was blaming it on the journey they'd had down from Sheffield <laugh>

Yep it was all pre planned mate as soon as the playoffs were secured. Using the final 5 games as a bit like pre season. Get players up to optimal fitness levels, gently ease back players returning from injury and give minutes to squad players. All to ensure we were in the best possible position come the 3 crucial play off games with the plan to set up to have Enzo in the middle as the main man to feed everything through. I think it showed in all 3 games that we finished the games as the much stronger team

Truthfully I think he is so good but he is capable of much more which can be frustrating. I have said on here many times he has the best first touch of any player I can remember playing for Sunderland. He has outstanding close control and i capable of beating defenders at will. His only problem is his final decisions. He was outstanding with Amad in the team because they both created spaces for each other and I think he misses that link up play.

Could do that with Enzo when he’s moved central and deeper.

Can we assume promotion and the riches it brings means the Dan Neil and Dennis Cirkin contract renewals are likely to happen?

Just having a browse of the sheff utd forums for the bants. A few of them hanging their hats on VAR costing them promotion and how they would have won comfortably had it not been ruled out. Whilst the 2nd point is possibly correct, surely no-one can really say that the VAR decision was wrong. I know their salty manager called it "subjective" but to me it's clear and obvious and a lot of Sheff Utd fans have said the same. Suppose it's easier to blame a 3rd party than to admit that they were beaten by the better side overall. Easier to be a victim of the regime.

I think that,as RLB has no experience of the EPL,he'll want to retain those of our players he trusts, fully understands and whose talent he thinks can be further developed at the higher level. I'd be surprised if Dan and Denis weren't in that category.

Tactically spot on. If Sean Lock was still alive and challenged RLB to a game of Carrot in a Box - my money is on Regis! <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Exactly. I've said it elsewhere on here, there's no way anyone can argue that goal should have stood. I've been mightily critical of VAR over the course of last season, but,I've had an epiphany and I now love it!<laugh>
