Well we don’t want their kind then! I have been a big fan of theirs up until now. I still use Will Still’s Whiskey Still regularly, and always pay for my online shopping using the Stills’ Bills Easy Tills.
The BBC website haven't even announced Still's appointment. Didn't even mention us on MoD. So bloody biased
Because their names don’t rhyme Apparently we’ve turned attentions to bringing in Angel Rangel as a coach instead
then I offer my apologies, I obviously came across more strongly than I thought. Big picture tho, there are so few positives to take from this season on or off the field, from squad to ownership level. all I can do is look to Sporrs and hope that he not only fulfills the promise he has but that he sticks around long enough to get his name on his office door. His recent predecessors haven’t.
Too many posters are unWilling to inStill any seriousness into this thread. I'm not getting involved.
One thing is for sure if Reims were happy to pay a £22,000 per game fine due to him not having a pro license then they must’ve seen something in him. They wouldn't have done that if they thought he was crap.
When will you dip your toe into the inviting, but still, water of punditry? Still, where there's a will, there's way
Whenever I go to someone’s house and they have Alexa, I always add big hairy balls to their shopping list. Thank you, Eric Cartman.
Hmm, it's starting to look like Rohl has backed himself into a corner somewhat. His position at Sheff Weds is surely untenable now with his comments. The situation is very messy and I'm glad Saints didn't **** around waiting for both him and Chansiri. He may well end up in a better job but we did the right thing moving for Still and getting the deal done so quickly.
Now that would be brilliant. He wanted to join Saints in January but as soon as rumours about bigger clubs started he wanted us to wait. Maybe he isn't as in demand as he thought!
This guy has either paid absolute £££ for the world's greatest PR firm, or we might actually be on to something here. I'm starting to get a little bit more confident about him
It' easy to get carried away with everything you hear and read about him. Ralph's press but with Martin's man management sounds pretty exciting. Even more so when a little pragmatism and adaptability is thrown in. Let's hope he lives up to the billing.
Seeing the way he talks, and what has been said about him, I'm pretty sure he won't be 'hugging pals' with the players and give them time off after games, 'Come in on Wednesday lads, we'll have a kick about, I love you' I'm sure he isn't like that and everything I've heard and read says he isn't. If you get on the wrong side of him, don't put a shift in - some players might get shocked. And really that's all most of us ask for - try hard, play the best football that suits the occasion and opponents and if you lose, well that happens sometimes, but when the final whistle blows everyone can see the genuine effort. That is all we want surely? Win some games would be geat but having players you know are trying for the club and fans is a start.
