Your words - I'd never term anybody that massacred civilians or even unarmed soldiers as 'brave' ... ... but it certainly wasn't 'Ali the Baker' and 'Hassan the Grocer' that paraglided over Israel's security perimeter fencing, was it?
not sure what that has to do with my post but your wrong about it being "exactly why the Geneva Convention came into being" as the first of the Geneva Conventions was to do with sick and wounded soldiers and came about due to a "bloody" battle .
Yeah we didn’t give a **** when we carpet bombed Basra. Didn’t stop the Russians massacring people in Bucha. Doesn’t stop the IDF running wild in Gaza. I could go on. Ultimately the Geneva convention means **** all and has no bearing on how any side conducts themselves.
You know the bar for war crimes is a bit higher than just anything bad happening to your pet Palestinians?
Read this story yesterday, forgot all about it until I saw BWood's pet Palestinian comment... Women’s cup final abandoned at Maidstone United’s Gallagher Stadium as Palestine flags waved. A women's cup final was abandoned after stadium management allegedly objected to Palestine flags in the crowd. Clapton CFC and Dulwich Hamlet Reserves were just 20 minutes into the London and South East Regional Women’s Football League Trophy final at Maidstone United's Gallagher Stadium when the game came to an abrupt halt. https://www.kentonline.co.uk/maidst...s-fans-wave-palestine-flags-in-stands-324864/ Clapton claim a representative of Maidstone United demanded supporters stop displaying a Palestinian flag and an anti-genocide banner among the Dulwich Hamlet fans. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Aka Sucky Robinson. Bet he was gutted when he found out it was a 50 year old white scouser that mowed them down.
Don't think people realise when they come to Kent we don't have all this flag waving nonsense. Don't think we had much of it for Ukraine either. People always do the poppy thing but that's about it. I think I've seen one Palestinian poster in all the time since it kicked off on that dreadful day, I think even that has gone now. Could be some areas where it's happening suppose, but I've not seen it.
Oh maybe in Dover anti immigrant stuff lol, but that's just weirdo's that rock up here and think they can do what they want.
I have a good story from a friend who is ex special forces. I used to work with him in mental health after he left the forces and he was one of those go-to guys because nothing fazed him. He was and still is a total gentleman with it all Anyway, he was telling me a story once when he was in the desert somewhere between Iraq and Iran. He was heading up a unit of men who needed to get to a certain place undetected and he had to negotiate with the local top dog to get permission to move through their territory. He said that one evening he was invited to this big tent to meet with the people who could get them to where they needed to go. He went with a couple of his men and they invited them in. One of the local men spoke English and was interpreting for them. He said that they were very cordial and could help in exchange for some money, which they said they could sort out. Then the interpreter said there was one more condition, that he spent the night there with the local chief / top dog. At first he thought he meant his men could all stay there and he told them they could make their own provisions. It was then made clear to him that the chief wanted him to spend the night with him alone. When I asked him what he did. He was like ‘There are a lot of things I did for queen and country, but the next day we took the long way around’
Was just the one, typical fat white **** with bulldog tattoos, and he wasn't racist directly to her cos I'd have glassed the ****, he was shouting you black **** at saka after his pen miss, tbf loads in there told him to behave himself after. Nice place other than that, Margate on the other hand is full of foreigners.
Not been to Margate for a few years, but saw some media coverage that it had been busy down there during the hot spell a few weeks back. It's got a Spoons about half way along the beach front road (Dreamland), nowt special but does have a small balcony upstairs that looks out over the beach. Ramsgate Spoons is better obviously.
