Am not. I didn't really post much on the Sunday and RTB spent most of it digging out anyone who posted anything negative.

Not sure. Maybe frustration. Glad RLB seen the same as we were so much better when he went off.

So why don't the three of you just WhatsApp and leave RTBs thread for people who don't want to hear all the moans?

Seriously loads of good posters have said they're sick of match threads because of it and don't often post.

Or, as I keep suggesting, start your own match thread and invite like minded people, who want to hear you, to post on there instead.

It's a serious question and fair when RTB asks almost every week for his thread to be respected.

When Watson scored I just screamed "OH MY GOD" over and over again as I hugged my son, my Dad and my mates. No idea where my phone was

Match threads are always gonna be like that. Always have and probably always will. It’s not really for me that sort of thing, but I can just avoid it. I tend to reserve more of my ‘that poster is a ****ing idiot’ judgements for the honking stuff that gets posted in the cold light of day. No real excuse for that stuff as there’s no immediate emotion driving it.

To be respected. He spent about 2 hours at 01.00am - 03.00am derailing the thread, going back and digging any negative post out.

Exactly as I said. Can not have it both ways.

I went to the little boys room just before he scored. I was walking back to the bar and heard all this cheering and shouting. I looked at the screen and saw someone (Tommy Watson) running around with his top off. So I legged it back and seen that we’d scored. I went just as daft as everyone else. Mrs K said that the bloke in front of her did that daft beer throwing that’s become a thing recently and she got some of it all over her. Still, small price to pay I suppose!

'Not wrong. Hardly posted after the game and just watched people go on and on about people who shouldn't vent or post negative.'

So it wasn't 'after the game' and it wasn't 'most of Sunday' as you said.

Let me put the same serious question to you as well,

'Or, as I keep suggesting, start your own match thread and invite like minded people, who want to hear you, to post on there instead.

Did you spot the gaggle of referees at the bar? Kevin Friend, Chris Kavanagh, Peter Bankes and David Coote

We saw some in EFL togs as we were leaving, didn't really take much notice of who they were. The son-in-law went back in for coffee to take away just before pulling away, he was taking an age to come back and when he did, he told me who they were. William got his photo taken with Kevin Friend. Wish I paid more attention when I was going out with the luggage as I would've aksed Friend why he always gives us f**k all! <laugh>

    Did you chat with them?

Nah, had my Hummel hoodie, but the wife stole that as it was cold. Heaton was good, even though he was clearly gutted at the result. Got chatting with a few Sheff utd fans, they were decent craic

Cheers mate, very decent of you.

The whole thing was as good as you could hope for ...

... loads met for the first time, loads turned up who knew each other and the pub couldn't have been better.

Before and after the game the atmosphere was top class and everyone played their part.

Some great memories and new friendships made ... you included.

I have to back your comments up. Was good to meet up with fellow posters and even though we squabble on here from time to time, Saturday at the Argyll Arms was like a family reunion with @Smug in Boots as head of the family - looking after us all and making sure we're all ok! <laugh>

Who’s to say what someone can or can’t post

why can people only post positive things.

we were so poor and lethargic first half people were upset thinking we weren’t going to win. RLB has said this himself in interviews so why can’t people say it here?

I burst into tears. I never take photos or videos at the games but I love that there’s folk who do.

Spend hours on TikTok watching fans **** videos after a game, I usually have a few on insta story pre game but once the walk to the ground starts it’s game mode.
