Pleased to see some mentioning the loss of 09 completely pulled us out of kilter for 30 minutes or so and a better team than Sheffield would have taken a bigger advantage tho mind they came pretty close.

Once we'd cleared our heads the game turned, yes VAR was important, but it only put right what would have been a wrong decision in allowing that goal.
Subs at the right time and the longer the game went on the outcome was fairly obvious.

Wilder had no plan B, Reggie did but how many times this season has our man outmanouvered a more experienced manager in this league that Reg was brand new to.

Hoping Luke's shoulder isn't a long term issue as it's not the first time he's had that type of injury.

True, but Hamer is a very good player and was a real threat against us , are we not allowed to mention him ?, you wont hear any more of him on here for a while, unless he moves on , so whats the problem.

Don't get yersel worked up mate, ffs I'm talking about the commentators, what's your problem?

Perhaps you should actually read what people post before you jump out of yer pram.

"We didn't just score because of an error, the commentators talk shyte tbh, we scored because of skill, tactics and the stamina RLB gave them over the last month."

    And my point still stands.

Once a shoulder has been dislocated it has a habit of recurring.

IMO, his name works against him in a big way. If he was Joe Smith, and at 17 he had came into a Championship team and did what he did, then does what he does now at 19, they would all be going nuts about him.

The idiots on their phones might not know how good he is, and how good he is going to be, but the pros will. And they will be watching, no doubt.

He could have an op now though. That sorts it, and he'd more or less be ready for next season.

What did everyone think of the VAR decision out of curiosity? I seen it at the time and thought it was harsh tbh, I would’ve been fuming if it went against us. Haven’t watched it since just my initial feeling at the time was that Souza wasn’t really in the line of sight. But we’ve had ****e decisions against us all season so not complaining at all.

He’s already had one iirc looks like it may just be something that could reoccur at any time

Oh absolutely mate. The best football either team played in the whole game imo. Theirs was a very good breakaway goal undoubtedly. But the move and passing was superb. The finish was the icing

The way he hit the ball, I wouldn't like to think he kicked me up the arsenal like that.

Is it wrong that I've watched Hume's tackle on BBD on a constant loop this morning?

The replay from behind the goal looks like 2 things affecting the flow of play to me.

    1. Souza starts to the left of Patto, pretty much where the ball went in so in the line of play of both the ball and Patto.

    2. He then moves across Patto but at one stage is close to Patto. You can almost see Patto shift his shoulder to dive but can't as he would dive into Souza. Then Souza is past him a moment later which is when Patto dives.

So he's in the line of play of the ball and also blocking Patterson. 100% correct call for me and well done to the referee.

Courtesy of @Smug in Boots Cheers mate!
The final whistle at Crown Casino in Perth.
As I said to Smug, the video doesn’t do the night justice. It was euphoric.

He's also obscuring Patterson's view of Moore who tries to nod the ball in ...

    ... so it's double jeopardy.
