Mayenda casual as **** after scoring such a massive goal, the more I see of him and his character the more impressed I am.

Watson played a key part in the move too. Another one who has ice in his veins when it matters.

Just into Edinburgh airport, on the shuttle bus to Ferrytoll park&ride.

I’ve had two nights in a lovely hotel on the river at Vauxhall …

… tonight is kipping in the back of my van in a car park <laugh>

It was telling that once we went 2 upront our wingers found more space.

While it was just Mayenda their 2nd central defender was able to move into the space allowing the fullbacks to press. Once we had the 2 upfront they were obviously worried as the fullbacks moved in

I’ve got a video on my phone when the final whistle went at Crown Casino in Perth. No idea how to post it on here though.

The fact the goals were at our end too. Class.

Watson's took ages to drift in and just curled at the right time. A game of 2 halfs indeed. What a weekend man.

When he hit it I thought that’s a bit weak :emoticon-0102-bigsm
Then seeing it go in and the replay showing the curve, I don’t think I’ll get over this whole weekend.

Love how the Sheffield Utd fans are blaming VAR. Hiw does anybody know if the linesman would’ve put the flag up without var? Nobody does!!

Me, I’d be pissed off with the lazy bastard stood in front of the keeper in an offside position

Love that. Interviews were far less guarded than the more ‘official’ ones for Sky etc (Cirkin saying his performance had stunk the place out etc), except maybe Jobe who was at pains to correct himself and Frankie to say ‘Sunderland are Premier League’ rather than ‘I am’ or ‘we are’.

Was reading some of their posts on their forums and they said how was hume not booked for his tackle on BBD or it could've been a red as it was uncontrolled. I seriously don't know how certain people seem things that the normal person doesn't.

Saturday reminded me of the 73 final....went down in a mini bus full and non of us had any doubt that we'd beat Leeds as it just felt it was our day, our time.
Saturday was simular I was sat in our hotel in Pitlochry and felt very calm even when we went behind, I told the wife at HT we'd get a grip second half and so we did.

Days like this are in the stars or are meant to be and Saturday was no exception....nobody had given this club any chance of beating Sheffield if you believe everything you read in the media and it was the same all those years ago, cannon fodder I seem to remember was quoted as our fate that day.

Young lads win nowt...how wrong you are Mr Hanson, these lads have the football world at their feet and thoroughly deserved it through hard graft and a massive sprinkling of talent.
Well done one and all and I'm extremely jealous and glad that all you lads were there to see it first hand. HTL.

Hey guys. I had a day at sea yesterday so no phone signal whatsoever and didn’t get to see any of the fallout or celebrations.

Was there any news of any kind yesterday?

The first goal is a brilliant goal in its own right and completely underrated due to the Watson goal.

Excellent play from us and great movement from Roberts and then Mayenda to create the space.

Yep. And he blanked Mcanuff and Davies at the pitchside too! I don't think any of these pundits understood what we were doing in the lead up. Regis was very smart in resting players. Pretty well everyone got a break, and it showed in the play offs with the gas we had left.
