The result today had to be disregarded regardless of the result as far as a decision around Ange is concerned.
Keeping him on means we're basically disregarding the bulk of the season. As you can all probably tell, I am immensely worried Levy is about to do something very stupid.
We lost our game after we last won a trophy in 2007...by 4-1 to a team beginning with B (Birmingham) ... Let's hope we ain't playing Brentford or Burnley or Bournemouth after next fa cup final or it'll damage our double attempt
Guys, it's not about today's result! We have lost 22 games this season. We have 38 points and in most other seasons, we would have been relegated! Yes, it's great to win a trophy but we must let Ange leave now with his head held high rather than next season when he will undoubtedly under-perform and get the sack!
We tied, quite relieved to be honest. Solanke was barely hitting a barndoor for about 3 months whilst Havertz was injured. A decent striker would’ve won me that bet though. Upgrade needed this summer.
I mentioned something on the United thread about polls I’d seen on social media. Lots of fans have changed their opinion. I don’t see, how against strong PL opposition, things will change. We need about 4 very decent players (which we can’t trust Levy to bring in), and a better coach that can get the best out of the ones we have. I’m delighted like everyone else that we won the Europa, but as I said all along when I predicted us to win it, it’s because there’s a significant drop in quality. We were the best of an average bunch. we’re miles off it against PL opposition, and 22 defeats solidifies that.
Surely no one really wants Ange to stay? Thanks for the trophy and I will always have good feelings towards Ange for that. But 38 points is utterly pathetic and we are completely ****ed if he stays with champions league next year. Which sounds completely laughable given how ****ing **** we are If Ange stays we get relegated next season simple as that. He is a terrible manager, the worst I can remember and just got lucky that the Europa league is much weaker this season, otherwise he would have been gone months ago.
Apparently our 22 losses is the most by a team in a league season to not be relegated. Also our most losses at home in a Prem season. Those records keep being smashed.
