Not very fair saying this about a place that a lot of people call home. There are a lot of places I don't like but I'd never (what basically amounts to) back handedly insult the residents of the place.

Spurs get bummed (no surprise) by Brighton and finish 17th.

Must the lowest any team has finished, in any league, and still get into the CL

    Many flops today.

Forest threw it all away at home.

Villa throw it away v utd. Only needed the draw.

Newcastle try to throw it away at home to Everton.

    What a damp squib

Isak not going anywhere as Newkie scrape into the top5, due to Villa's inability all season to know how to defend.

Chelsea's spending likely to go through the roof again as they can justify it with CL income next season.

Villa proper bottled that. Had arguably the easiest game then keeper gave them a parting gift by getting sent off.

Newcastle very very lucky, losing 1-0 at home but still snuck into Cl.

Shame for Forest to only get europa conference, however any English club getting into that should fancy chances of winning and might be a blessing in disguise for them. An incredible season when looked as a whole

Realistically Forest should be winning the EC and Villa the EL.

Lets be honest Spurs are going to get spanked in the CL and Newkie will find it hard to balance Europe with the league, like they did last time

Depends. Villa are under some serious ffp issues and needed that Cl money. Think their wages turnover was about 90% which is way above uefa’s limit. Martinez looks like off and while I don’t rate him as best keeper in the world, he’s a decent prem keeper needing replacing. Watkins is obviously pissed off, they will need to reinvest.

Newcastle I’d imagine will buy big to add depth.

If anyone hasn't seen it yet. The Villa Red card today

'Best Goalkeeper in the World' right there <doh>

Frankly the guy should be investigated for links to betting with that one.

Said without an ounce of irony as well. Yes, won a European trophy and got CL but he has to know that spurs have hated 75% of their season

On the ManU/Villa disallowed goal, just had a watch and I don't get how they can blame the ref. He blew cause he thought the GK had it in both hands, which from his pov it could have looked like as Rogers was in front of the Refs eyeline. Perhaps he could have waited for VAR, but people keep claiming they want the ref to make on-field decisions.

The fault is with the VAR who could have over turned the decision as Rogers had put the ball in the goal

Not sure VAR could have overturned it as the ref had blown the whistle before the ball was put in the net. Once whistle blown game stops.

Then you have a break down in the system.
Either the Ref constantly waits for VAR to tell him what to do, so whats the point in having an on-field ref.
Or you want the Ref to make decisions and accept that they can't see everything perfectly all the time.
