This is just weird. Almost all of the linked managers have now been dismissed by Baz. According to Acun’s timeline we are less than a week away from an appointment but no one has a clue so far.

 

I'd say the latter.

 

Maybe that's a good thing, saves the good manager (hopefully) getting poached by someone else, and the clickbait for Baz et al going...

 

Any ITK folk have another name I can blow £20 on to make go into evens and get everyone doing full in depth reviews of how they play and why they’d be ****?

I'll tell you once the club confirms it. That way I can say I was right and I'm ITK.

I do have to laugh that a few ITKers have been burnt not once but now multiple times trying to claim they knew the name linked was the one they'd been told, only for media to suggest that they were off the money.

 

To be fair, @oozkan only said that Acun had reached out to Riera to congratulate him about the cup win and also asked if he would be interested in joining City. Cooper confirmed Acun spoke to Riera but he was never interviewed.

 

What if Syd is taking the job?

 

Some thought Riera was wrapped up, and others thought Bilic was in the bag. Neither seems the one at this stage.

Instead of people being desperate for ITK clout let's just sit back and wait to see who it is.
