    Not knowing anything about the ginger ninja, I am so happy that there isn't any of the faffing about like the Martin appointment and there will be a manager inplace before the transfer window and preseason

    I would've preferred a safer option but I've seen good things said and written about him so I'll get behind him and hope that it works out well for him (and us) here.

    Well everyone can get as angry as they want, boooo, get put on ignore by me (because I'm a pessimist but frankly I find it tiresome and wearing) but everything I've read says he picks his line-ups to suit the players at his disposal, he changes tactics to suit his players and opponents and can do that during a game. Everything we have been moaning about for four/five managers in a row. He is young so willing and clearly learning as he develops.

    It is almost as if Spors has watched the team and in the background, heard the anger of the fans and said 'This is what we need to do'.

    But no let us moan, booo him before he has even set foot in Southampton FC, and really blow our tops if we lose a game in the first five.
