I'd say man utd might actually benefit from being out of everything. they can spend the money saved on the tea ladies on a few players and just focus on the league only next year. Then when they obviously win it they can buy more stars.
Was just reading an article saying basically the entire squad is for sale... Whoever they can sell to stay financially viable next season. Obviously they won't sell everyone but I think rich clubs can pick and choose from United ranks right now... They need to do some belt tightening after years of crazy spending without any success.
Tottenham sacked manager after winning trophy in 2008.Is this going to happen to Ange Postecoglou?. https://talksport.com/football/3223...s-sacked-trophy-real-madrid-ange-postecoglou/
Who would you seriously pick up though? Fernandes is only one that actual has any kind of output. Maguire has been their best striker this year!!
Fernandez is a good player but made the wrong choice of going to United. I was jealous of United when he joined them, but not now.
Fernandes is crap. Why? Terrible leader. Shirts real work. Sunshine type player. Can't press won't press. Can't track won't track. When you take every free and pen you will have a bit of output but he is part of the problem at utd. Best example of this is when arsenal stopped paying ozil 300k a week and moved on they improve massively.
Their product isn’t entertaining enough and I am not sure it can be until they alter a few things You can’t suggest these things without taking serious damage But for me as a whole they need to change the size of the ball, the size of the net, and the size of the pitch to overhaul the standard of the product. However making that suggestion can be detrimental to your health.
None look good at Man U, but there's such a negative energy round the place that they might be different in a different environment, especially younger players where there's more scope to train and develop them. So someone like Mainoo or maybe Garnacho if you think he's got the right mentality could be worth a punt. And Shaw's normally a decent player for the couple of weeks a year that he's fit.
Man Utd missing out on Europe could turn out to be a bad thing imo. They are going to be forced to manage their money more effectively, in turn whilst doing this, they could stumble upon a formula that works and stops them chucking money at a problem.
I don't like or rate Bruno but he is their only player at the moment. I'd still cash in on him though; 30yrs old so peak value which will only decline going forward. Sell him and build a team instead.
Arteta was asked who had had the better season between Arsenal and Spurs. Arteta: "I don't like to compare to other teams, I just concentrate on Arsenal" He was comparing Arsenal's and Liverpool's points a week or two back
Man utd issues Dodgy keeper No good cbs. (Vastly overpaid for yoro) No lwb at all. Won't pick a consistent cm pair. Ugarte and mainoo not backed. Not support forward who work. Garnacho won't track. Serious culture issue at utd there. No striker. All awful
Psr innit. Really the culture at the club seems awful. Rashford is a symptom of the not arsed to work big start on mega wages. Fernandes was made captain ffs. Why would any young player get good habits there? We argued for years with Jimmy about milner. Years. But he ran that dressing room. Now mo and vvd are running it. Utd need a heart transplant where 4 or 5 senior men come in and everyone else is shoved out and they set standards if work Garnacho has been ruined by this attitude issue of no tracking no work Thier biggest sin imo is on any given day if they bother themselves they can put in a display of sorts.
