True story mate, I had a huge lump ( 10 years ago at least) come up above my balls so went straight to the docs. He said we have a trainee doctor ( female ) in today do you mind if she stands in. I said no it doesn’t bother me, anyways drops my pants and gets on the bed, nothing it had disappeared. Well I had been checking them regularly ever since it was on the news. I said well when I lifted them like this and turned them like this it came up.
They both started laughing and he says if you do that to your nuts it’s hardly surprising.
10 years ago now and never appeared again, bizarre!

    Hi Everyone.

On Saturday 7th June I’m competing in an annual charity football match in honour of Louie’s Trust. A charity set up after the tragic passing of my Godson at such a young age to support families with hospitalised children.

to date they’ve raised nearly £30,000 to support these families.

no donations are expected but if you wish to donate or read more about the charity you can do so below.

Bit of an update on this....

Seen the nephrologist yesterday, and we've definately got the green light.

I need to have another round of CT and MRI scans, trays, bloods etc, just to check nothing has changed since the last lot, and make sure my kidney(s) are still in good nick.

Timescale, they said "months", but would definately be this year. There is a timeline the Mrs will follow:
T-30 days, some kind of injection to stop ab anti-body development. Various other things across the 30 day countdown, down to T-3 days, which is when she would be admitted and the transfusion carried out to remove ab anti-bodies to a safe level to carry out a non-match transplant.
She will be in a further 7 days after, then all being well, home, and dialysis free.

I go in on the day of the transplant, lose a kidney, then all being well, home the following day, then 6 weeks off work.

This will make a life changing difference to the Mrs, she's forgot what it feels like to feel "normal".

Oooh, I can almost smell that Guinness @gelders pie.

Brilliant news Snaggey. A former colleague of mine was gifted a kidney by his wife and it changed his life completely. I hope all goes well for the two of you and your outcome is as successful as his <ok>
