I've been struggling to think of a one off game that's been so big for us and what it could mean going forwards.

Sure we've had a great escape before, but that squad had square pegs in round holes and some mercenaries in it.

I've had a nervousness and excitement just there as a feeling all week.

This for me too, with the added bonus of the Watson/jobe and possibly Neil money we can really look to throw our weight around abit next year, either way this years been a good one and we’re on the right path, all of what I’ve said will be irrelevant when we win Saturday mind

1-0 jobe parting gift in the 73rd minute

I honestly think this will be a tight game and may well be decided late into the second half. I have gone for us to win 3-1 but fully expect the game to feel harder than that scoreline suggests.
Like I said earlier whatever the outcome the team has earned our respect and support this season and I hope that even if the result is not to our liking their is not so much bitching and sniping about

We are on a journey at the minute and this is just another step in the right direction whatever happens

One crucial thing you missed out,
You could still be standing there now waiting for Var to give Dan’s goal, so think of that, that celebration would never have taken place, you would have to wait and wait and wait and then you would be lucky to get a Hurray not what actually happened. Also I’m not convinced it would have been give when you watched Hume ( not sure now) blocking their player on the touch line from getting to the ball.
Anyway since I know you have ££££ signs in your eyes I will let you dwell on it<ok>

Nothing to do with ££££ signs. I understand the fear on VAR. But it works both ways. Sheff Utd could have scored an offside last minute winner. I'd rather it was ruled out by VAR than stood.

Anyway, have you bought your Sheffield Utd shirt for Saturday yet? :D

Can we not ruin another thread 3 days before the game has even started?

Sorry buddy you're chatting nonsense as always. And if VAR is a reason for not wanting the premier league then you're in for bad news as it will be in the championship before long.

Anyway, I'm only going to talk to people who want Sunderland to win on Saturday rather than negative folk who'd rather play conference football if it meant we can win more.
