We only conceded one in the second half against Manchester City, and actually managed to score one. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I think anyone could have improved us after Walter, he had Sean Macca rotating into the 10 Ffs. Selles shouldn’t be looked at the same as Rosie because he’s not on his level, there’s no crying shame about Selles getting the boot we was absolutely gash and stayed up by the skin of our teeth.
To be fair my post was more in reference to the logic that the logic applied to all 4 managers. Selles will have that question mark over him as what could he have done.
Looks like they’ve honed in on a candidate according to the latest article from Baz. Says it’s not Muslic or Emre though.
That's a stunner. I hope he's a better manager, than player. Sorry, open goal...Had to take the chance.
HCAFC Brain’s team meeting: Right lads, we’ve just sacked a manager who never played professional football himself, became a coach at a Premier League team then a caretaker manager for a few games when the actual manager was sacked and who then got a gig with a third tier team and did ok with them. Who shall we go for next? Any ideas? Probably best to stick with more of the same, Boss.
Chat GPT's opinion on some names from betting sites etc, I left belözoğlu in to show how ridiculous that was irrespective of his past.
Got a feeling it could well be him. Another one, like Selles, with an 'interesting' unorthodox background ... and that's why I have this feeling it could be him. Acun and the brain / brian team looking for some sort of edge over others (as in discovering the next gem). That might prove to be the case ... but it would be another big punt, arguably even bigger punt than they took on Selles (and Walter and Shota ....).
If we’re going for Championship experience then Alex Neil would be my preferred choice. If we’re going for another young coach with a point to prove, likely with no experience coaching in the Championship or even England, then I’d be happy with Nuri Şahin or Albert Riera. Don’t think it matters in the grand scheme of things as the guy will be gone by the time the Christmas lights are turned on. Riera impresses me. Won a title and two cups in Slovenia at both Olimpija Ljubljana and Celje and did a good job at Bordeaux until they went to **** due to off-field issues.
If they got with another “risky” appointment it’s clear they’re trying to be clever like you say and get an advantage one way or another. Obviously if it hits you look a genius but you’d hope as long as we aren’t Walter bad whoever it is will be given time.
