A few of us have ventured to GC didnt like it and came scurrying back to our own board! ,although credit where its due its no where as bad as it was a few months back! I know a couple of people I tried to persuade to join Not606 saw the GC at the top of the page ,had a look and never joined
I think the biggest problem was the live chat section that used to enjoy pride of place at the top of the page. Getting rid of that was the second best decision Mick ever made (after starting this site in the first place).
I give advanced warning. Little Ak has a fighting competition tomorrow in the afternoon so I will only cover the first half of the football game. I hope all the goals are scored in this 45 minutes so I miss nothing.
I like these games where we aren't really expected to get anything and sometimes suprise the critics. Feel we can get a point from this game and would be more than happy with one.

It's a madhouse, but i'm pretty choosy about where i post tbh.. oooh i'm honoured then! that i'd love to have seen! i'm hoping! Why all the pessimism? Leeds are what, 4th? Brighton are 7th, they were carp. Middlesboro 5th, they were carp? Other than Soton and with-Parker W Ham, i have seen nothing to be worried about in this league.
Cause you haven't played us yet But seriously, this is one of the most even leagues in the world. If you get even 2 wins in a row, it can take you about 8 places up. I'm predicting a 2-1 scrappy Leeds win. We're good away from home this season.
I sort of agree with that. I'm sure you'll score just a few more than that - over the course of the rest of the season.
You'e right there Best Fan. It is why I like being in the conf rather than the bottom of the Prem. Any game can be entertaining and give any result. I'll go along with you and say it will be tough/scrappy but the 'orns will get lucky. That said my each way bet is my prediction 5-3 to the 'orns
Sounds a lot like our goalie! As per usual excellent thread AK. As we now seem to have settled down as a unit(one of the reasons we haven't played well against top teams,we played them early-new players take time to bed in) I can see us coming away from the game with a 2-1 win. It will be tough though.
I will take nothing less than a 3-0 drubbing of Leeds. I don't like them now, I never did, I never will and that feeling was reinforced on a train back from Cardiff in 2006 amongst the shaven headed hordes (and that was just the women!). Dreadful bad losers........
