Great night ....I nearly gave my seat to someone the day before but changed my mind ....what made it better was a Turkish guy we got friendly with in marmaris was a besiktas nut...err I reminded him of the score on a regular basis
Guilavogui leaving. Byram and Firpo still in discussions with the club. Youth players offered new terms James Debay, Rory Mahady,Coban Bird, Harvey Vincent.
Guilavogui we all knew many moons ago. Firpo ok give it a go but don't dwindle on it it should be either a straight yes or no off the bat hes either Leeds or not simple as that. Sambo I love to bits. I have praised him many times on here due to his commitment to the cause whilst knowing his injury record and issues. But he's 32 in September. He wasn't first choice in a championship side and he can't play 2-3 games in a row so with a heavy heart we really shouldn't be offering him a new contract. This is how brutal and ruthless we need to be now though. I've enjoyed having him back he even said he never thought he'd get anything like this in his career again has been part of our successful season. No matter what I like about him, it has to be the end of the road. a firm handshake and a massive thankyou should be given sadly. As on the Ampadu story its not even a story to me. He's had no input into what was posted. as for some deluded fans saying take the captaincy off him or sack him off dear fookin god. enough said from me on it.
Thing is we can’t buy 2 players in every position so letting go both Byram and Firpo straight off the bat would be silly. Wouldn’t mind either as bench options tbh.
Anyone watching the West Ham game. They are very poor, possibly a team we could finish above if we recruit well. On a separate note, six minutes VAR took to check for an offside when a goal went in, I’m not looking forward to that next season
Rumour has it Bowen going as well so defo potential. If they’re gonna lose Coufal and Soucek as well think they could struggle.
No. I find the prem boring, until Leeds are there. a slight caution, it’s hard to judge, standards/speeds are generally higher so a side that would be brilliant in the Championship can look ordinary against better opposition. Plus do they have anything to play for? (Genuinely I don’t know, if they don’t then it’s a meaningless end of season game)
I’ll try again, if you are right then the fact they are still above scum could mean next season is a golden one, with scum being relegated preferably sealed by a Leeds win at OT. There you go.
