Hope you’re right, I’ve not forgiven him for the stuff against Bielsa. But I keep hearing it, our new owners won’t know or care, just want the best manager they can get.
I agree, seems like the ex is twisting what was said when she says “Ethan knew about the photo” the club were not saying he didn’t know, they’re saying no responsibility for it. The club made the announcement as a small portion of fans are calling for him to be stripped of the captaincy and shipped out
Regarding Ampadu, I was following a X (Twitter) trail as there were dozens saying ban Rio Ferdinand for life from Elland Road after what he did this week. Finally found what he did, someone posted a video of him Celebrating a Gala Turkish cup win whilst sat in the barbers
How far out does this Turkish ban extend with some fans. Should someone who has ever visited turkey not be allowed in Elland road anymore or shouldn’t support Leeds. Do we check the foods we buy in supermarkets to make sure it hasn’t come from turkey. There has to be a modicum of common sense here. We certainly should never have any football dealings with that lot again and if we ever meet in European football protest in the strongest possible manner. I certainly can’t see how Ampedu can have any responsibility for these photos
With the way social media is these days it would be difficult for him not to know about the picture but since it wasn’t him who took it and posted it then it seems correct to say that he has no responsibility for it. To suggest selling him is a bit of an overreaction to me no matter how much I despise that club.
Here’s a good idea so. Make every photo every player has visible for fans to scrutinize and anything remotely dodgy should result in instant sacking
No such thing as SOCIAL media... it's a vipers den of so called people wanting to cancel others because of a different opinion...well f off you soft arsed twats, is that social enough
This. Also, his ex misses is Turkish so hardly surprising is it? Also, the terrible events that happened wasn’t every Turkish person so others shouldn't be held accountable for others actions. I’d hate for everything bad done by a British person to represent someone’s view of me.
People think it’s solidarity with the families etc. but have they asked them what they think? What’s Important in my view is that Chris and Kev are always remembered by the club and the fans. Part of that is that everyone associated with Leeds needs to to be aware of and show some thought and sensitivity around the topic of Galatasaray. But… as you say, bit of common sense needed.
The entire topic of Ampadu and his son is ridiculous, I don’t think it warranted the need for a club response but due to a small portion of idiotic fans they obviously felt the need to. If his wife did it innocently move on, if she did it to purposely cause him trouble then shame on her The fact she has twisted the club response and demanding a retraction suggests she was looking to cause him grief
I will only buy a kebab of a fernabache fan, and yes I check It's a joke isn't it. A non story Bitter Ex trying to get at her baby daddy. It was no accident as she paid to promote the tweet. That kid and that woman can support or wear what they want, they ain't associated with our club and Amps certainly hasn't done anything wrong
Better still buy one from a Besiktas fan and take the piss out of him at the same time Leeds United 6 - 0 Beşiktaş (Champions League)
