In all honesty, I'm sure he's a good player but Cherki has been touted as a player about to get a big move for a few years now (he's only going to be 22 at the end of the season but has been talked about since he was 17-18 as he made his debut for them aged 16). Everyone in Europe has had a chance to have a look at him and the fact he has a £19m release clause (apparently) and no-one has snapped him up feels noteworthy.

If we decide he's worth getting then I'll trust our scouts. They've been pretty good so far.

Cherki has always been credited with a pretty poor attitude. If he hasn't grown out of this then I don't think Eddie will go anywhere near him

 

Cherki is the skillful maverick that wins tight games with an exceptional bit of skill.

If we can get him then do it.

 

Cherki is a huge talent. From what I’ve seen of him (in videos) I looks like a skilful player with a lot of energy.

 

He also holds his crotch at opposition fans.... Not our type

 

100% we should be in for him. Talented lad, potential to develop. Only concern would be attitude and work rate compared to Murphy and Gordon. Depending on cost I’d still prefer Mbuemo for the RW
