If you believe his yuppies, his conviction was the result of a left-leaning, crooked system, so even claiming he has a conviction has a political slant you daft twat.
The classic response of someone who has nothing left to say or any reasonable point. Stop embarrassing yourself.
I like Cancel Culture. People who make racist, sexist, homophobic or transphobic comments in a public forum and then hide behind “it’s free speech” or state that they are “just saying what lots of people are thinking” do a wonderful job of highlighting their own lack of empathy, or worse their bigotry. Getting “cancelled” is their way of whinging about the fact they been called out by people with more empathy, capable of viewing others with more nuance. The irony of some of the more high profile Cancellations is that it’s usually self-declared on platform that reaches millions of people.
I think that all the things I just mentioned are fairly black and white. People either are prejudiced or not. Personally, I don’t want a convicted racist managing the club. It would be like when Wayne Brown allegedly upset the dressing room talking about the BNP. Seem to recall he didn’t hang around for long afterwards.
As I said in the edited post, i’m going for lie down. This forum goes off on one during the off season with thread derailments galore.
It wasn’t just the BNP stuff, he also got made to look basement division of Sunday league standard by Emile Heskey and Amr Zaki in that 0-5 Wigan game.
Wasn’t one incident against Diouf? We can strike that one off the record at least surely, he’s a despicable creature
What point are you making, that racism is okay if the person on the receiving end is also a twat or that Diouf was lying?
Even complete ****s don’t deserve racial abuse. I mean Adel Taraabt is a top arsehole that few on here have the time for, it doesn’t mean calling him a slur is okay.
If we do go for this guy it shows how disjointed things are. From reading about linked players, we're obviously targeting the African market and yet seemingly after a manager who on multiple occasions has been accused (and found guilty) of racist abuse towards (*checks notes) players of African descent.
