Setting aside the racism, abuse and potential links to FETÖ aside, from a purely footballing perspective I’m not seeing what the thinking is here.

Emre has won 6 games at Antalya since his appointment in January. That’s less than Selles had here. He seems to be living off the hype of having done fairly well at Istanbul Başakşehir, who at the time I’m sure were funded by the Turkish government and were the RB Leipzig of the Turkish Super Lig.

You’d be sacking an average mild mannered manager for a less than average, racist, aggressive one.

Putting the racism thing back in the spotlight it also doesn’t say much for our support for the likes of Kamara, Drameh, TLT and Matazo if we’re willing to hire somebody with his past activities.
