Funded by the EU don’t make it a European hospital when it’s located in feckin Gaza. They’ve just called it that to try and win some support with the West. You’d think they’d have put something in place to stop Hamas running tunnels all around it and putting them in danger. That was a bit careless, tbh.
There are loads of UNRWA EU funded hospitals in underprivileged areas of the world .. that there is one in Gaza does not make it any less a hospital, irrespective of whether there are tunnels under it...
Yet again today (3rd time) you are trying to put across something that I’ve never said. I’ve never said it’s any less of a hospital. I said it ain’t a European hospital when it’s based in Gaza. Let’s just leave it for a while. Cba with you continuing to do this to me. It’s all you’ve got.
Can't be 'European' because it's in Gaza? ... so an Indian Restaurant in Brick Lane can't be Indian? ... ... the guy that was a Chief Surgeon there at the start of the war is a British Professor with an OBE ...
I think it was obvious what you was saying and how transparent it was that he tried to twist it lol. He wasn't fooling anyone
If it is in Brick Lane then it must be Bangladeshi But dont let little things get in the way of making a point
Never thought I’d ever see you jump about this much on a forum. You accused of me saying it was less of a hospital because of its name, which you knew was bollocks, so are now talking about something else to divert attention from that original point that you made. A few times you done that to me yesterday. Other posters are right about you and I was never able to see it. The mask slipped yesterday.
Now hang on a minute... you said: "Funded by the EU don’t make it a European hospital when it’s located in feckin Gaza. They've just called it that to try and win some support with the West." On this we disagree; the hospital being called 'The European Hospital' was not cynically driven, as you seemed to infer, (pardon me if that was not your intent) in order to gain Western 'support' but rather because the construction of the hospital had been paid for by the European Union under a UN initiative and many staff, including the Chief Surgeon, were Europeans - thereby differentiating it from other hospitals in Gaza. The hospital was also built close to 20 years before Hamas came into power in Gaza and has always been known as The European Hospital. Now, reading back, I can see why you thought I was attempting to twist your words in a later post - as it was a 'response' to yours - that wasn't the prime intent, and so I apologise. I could have worded it better and perhaps not as a 'reply' - my point was that we were getting sidetracked over something pretty irrelevant (the hospital name) when the bigger issue is whether targeted strikes on hospitals is ever justifiable - for me they are not - particularly by a force already in overwhelming military control.
Looks like Mad Vlad is ramping things up before any peace deal ... or is it perhaps a means of outraging the Ukranians enough to keep them away from agreeing one? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cz0d31ydlg7o
This last paragraph is like when you see some pointless cabinet minister on Question Time. So it wasn't the prime intent, but there was intent Your point was you were both getting sidetracked so you typed out this: This post was boneheaded, there was no need at all for your to even suggest that someone was doubting it was an actual hospital, you only introduced that because when you're bickering with someone you always twist their words. It is your go-to tactic every single ****ing time. Everyone sees it.
