Moore absolutely anonymous on the right though, unfortunately. Might be better shifting Odobert out there and putting him in the middle.

I think Odobert has played 10 before, hence the move. Moore isn’t really a right sided player though. We don’t really have many!
Kulusevski and Johnson should be enough. Probably seems a little light because we've got so many for the other side.
Sonny looks physically sharper than he has done for a while. He still has a lick of pace and his movement is looking better than I’ve seen for a while. That said he’s having a stinker with his decision making.
0-0 HT. Actually fairly respectable, considering. I'd be very tempted to sub Son off and give Richarlison some minutes up top. Give the players more of a target.
Left side’s been decent, right side not so much. Spence’s form has really dropped the last 5 or so weeks, I partly wonder if it’s because he’s almost instantly been demoted once Udogie returned to full fitness. I’m a big fan of the Italian but it does seem like Ange has just basically gone “cheers for helping out earlier but now you’re just a backup” to Spence. Midfield also pretty non-existent. Kinsky’s also dealt with everything he’s needed to.
I think we’ve been okay tonight, can see what we’re trying to do and have stuck to it pretty well. Most of villas good bits have come from genuine bits of good play by them. We’ve had our own opportunities as well but except the Odobert one, just some poor decision making with the final ball letting us down. Definitely don’t think the effort can be questioned tonight though.
We know who 9 of the Thursday starters are at this point. Anyone who doesn’t come out for the second half will give us some pointers as to the other two.
The only position that’s up for debate is CAM/ 3rd CM I’d say. Vicario Porro, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie Bentancur, Bissouma, ??? Johnson, Solanke, Son That’s 100% 10 of the 11 starting assuming no injuries between now and Weds. It’s the. whether we choose industry with Sarr as a third CM or flair with Odobert as a CAM. Edit: Scrap that, it’ll be Son in the 10 as Richarlison will start.
