I think his stats are very skewed though as he’s been playing a lot further forward so his tackles and defensive actions are always going to be lower than a full back. The other option is always that grav drops deeper in a back 3 when in possession and allows Frimpong and kerkez to push higher up
Okay, I'll bite. Now that Ederson is on the decline, which other Top Six keeper is better than Kelleher?
Raya ortega is as good as him Martinez - even though he’s massively overrated he’s still better than Kelleher Sels He’d improve Newcastle and Chelsea as well as spurs wolves West Ham palace.
Raya? Never! Ortega? Same level, yes, perhaps. Villa? Not Top 6, but fair point. Sels - same point as Martinez. And you cannot pretend he's not a better keeper than Onana, as I was talking about the 'Top 6'. Though why Spurs and United are still termed as such, God only knows.
You said top 6 Liverpool arsenal City Newcastle chelsea forest villa (ok that’s 7, but they’re top 6 behind lfc competing for CL). Raya is far better. He has his moments coming miles out but that’s Arteta tactics, his shot stopping is brilliant. United aren’t buying him so excluded them but yeah he’s less error prone than Onana.
I should have put Top Six in quotation marks, obviously. But I'll die on this hill that Raya may be Pickford-like at chucking himself about like an epileptic gibbon, but I'll take Kelleher any day in one-on-ones and pens.
I’ve never been fully sold on Raya, but his shot stopping is up there with the very best. His reactions are top notch and agility to react after making a save to be able to make follow up saves are brilliant. I think this year he’s improved an awful lot and prob put him 2nd place behind Alisson as best keeper in the league.
What do you mean top 6? Super league 6? (Unfair.given onana and vicariously are in that) Or the current top 6? Raya, pope, ederson, martinez, alisson
The former, but I understand why, with Spurs and Utd occupying 16th and 17th place that some thought I meant the latter.
6 can be the big 6 clubs so just to be clear kelleher is a nice lad and he's got a few good traits but in the general game is is far from the forest at distribution, catching, kicling long and actually saving shots would not enthuse me. He can head on with great thanks amd appreciation
Nunes always played his best football on the left of a front 3, **** knows why we tried to play him as a 9.
