So we go from leaving all our signings to the last week of the window last season to trying to sign players half a month before the window actually opens.

 

It’s silly season now.

 

We know from reports that it's more than likely to be 3.5m euros with a 40% sell on.

So then it's possible to know what he likely needs to leave for for us to break even or better.

 

You can agree a deal anytime.

 

Even so, surely it’s 40% of any sell on profit so if we only sold for £3.5m we’d still make 60k on the deal

Maths doesn't check out on the 60k but yeah it's usually on any profit.

Obviously not creditable, they're talking about a Hull City in a mythical place called 'Umberside.

Yeah, but if it was spelt "Umbersaard" it'd probably have some credibility.

 

Can see Hughes and Pandur going this summer in addition to Alzate, Puerta, Kamara etc. and I don’t blame them one bit. Like Seri last season, a lot of our better players will want out because they see this club as the dead-end it is. Fat boy might even let them go cheap if they ask him nicely.

 

Much will depend on the new appointment as to who will want to leave.

But I've a feeling we're going to have to raise funds to strengthen, so I'd question whether we'd realistically be able to say no to any decent offer that came in for anyone.
