Difficult one this is. Dunno if Villa not qualifying for the CL stuffs them on FFP rules (if so, then messing them up is a solemn duty) . However, with : 1. the EL final + current walking wounded in mind 2. Villa being thugs generally against Spurs + overall in the PL in recent games I do not want to tempt fate in any way.
Judging by the fall out to the loss at home to Palace this is going to be a Duzi , if we come away with no injuries and less than 3 goals against I will be happy I'm sad to say
Son needs the minutes. Otherwise not a single player intended for the team on Wednesday should start.
I imagine he might give Odobert 45 minutes in the attacking midfield role to see if it works from the off. If he comes off at half time having not had a complete stinker then it gives us a good clue as to his plans IMO. It’s a tricky one this as we ideally need to give some gametime for sharpness but I imagine VdV (who is a massive risk) and Bentancur (who started Palace) are unlikely to play. Maybe Bissouma and Romero get 30/45 mins at some point? I wonder if Vic will play a half to keep him in the zone? Vicario Spence Romero Danso Davies Sarr Gray Odobert Moore Richy Son Then second half Kinsky Spence Danso Davies Reggie Sarr Gray Bissouma Moore Tel ‘academy surprise’ - Luca Williams Barnet?)
Frankly hope we beat them in the most annoying manner possible after the way they carried on about the fixture being moved The fact that doing so might see them miss the CL and their entire business model implode would be a bonus
Dangerous to be starting Son, especially up against that ****, Cash. Should've brought him on around 60 mins.
Looks like the sumours of Odobert being treid as a No10 might be true please log in to view this image
Not a chance of anything but a Villa win. The way Spurs have approached the league games recently is pathetic.
