Not a bad list at all, but: Rodriguez already gone and Donley not a winger, as you've said. Serginho has done great this season and I doubt he'd be available for a 7 figure fee. Hugo Bolin linked with Frankfurt with the fee likely closer to €6-8m. Kwame Poku, great shout but probably lots of Championship competition. Ben Nygren linked to Serie A. Anyway, more importantly, compiling a list like this, especially of players you've actually watched and assessed can be tough.
wow. cannot believe Burnley are losing Egan-Riley, to Strasbourg of all places. Wow. Was looking forward to seeing him in the premier league next season
Chelsea looking for a new place to stash young talent. Least they’ve finally decided that they can’t fit any more in their own squad I guess!
Of course, I've watched all these players thankfully so feel I am in a good position to assess them. I will have to stick to my original point though as you listed some pretty poor championship players and if we want to be challenging for automatic promotion they wouldn't cut it. Doak would be nice but think he'll be kept around or sent to a higher level next season. If there's championship competition for a player and we aren't able to attract them then we probably wouldn't deserve to be as high up next year.
They spend Strasbourgs money on players they want to sign in the future, unfortunately yeah it is 100% what's happening. While its ****e, at least it's better for the players involved in their human trafficking scheme as they actually get to develop.
I don't want competition for Roberts. I want replacements. Should be nowhere near the club next season and i'll be disappointed if he is.
Not convinced this is truly realistic with Leicester, Southampton and Ipswich coming down with their parachute payments and current squad, but we can hope.
Could it also lead to further investment? It has always been the talk in takeover circles that there are those willing to do a deal or put money in at Sunderland but to match Louis-Dreyfus’ terms the club needed to be back in the Premier League. It will be fascinating to see whether anything happens there but the Netflix series Sunderland ‘Til I Die has given them profile in America, even inspiring Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney to invest in Wrexham. Let’s just put it this way – their rise would be a welcome new plotline Stateside.
Like that.... "No VAR, no camera phones, just the sweet, temporary release of 40,000 people from their senses."
Yeah, I agree Scottish teams apart from Celtic and Rangers, probably, embarrass themselves in Europe. Not that I can think of any embarrassing results for the likes of Motherwell or Kilmarnock.
