I didn't expect to have to do another one of these...
Full credit goes to Archers for the point last time out as he's the one who decided to break new ground and make that all important second matchday thread, I was merely the foundations.

Finally getting that twelfth point feels like being picked second last for the team. Ultimately still feels pretty ****, but hey at least we're not that last kid (sorry Derby,...not sorry Robbie Savage).

Next up is the last ever professional game at Goodison Park (*no idea if they are doing any post season send off testimonial style game for it). As we all know, we have an awful, awful...awful record at Goodison Park...so thank **** for that. However, we are now the 12 point champions and we've beaten them twice this season AND in our last two at Goodison (albeit one of those was on penalties in the League Cup).

A few more tenuous positives for you:
    - ALL of our PL wins this season have come against teams playing in blue, Everton...and Ipswich.
    - We have a rich history of being the rain on the parade of teams in their final games at their grounds. Okay, so maybe it's only happened one time? at Maine Road in 2003...but TSP claimed various other instances of which I will also now list in the name of positivity, and you can decide how much credence they get...

    - We were the last away team to win a top flight game at Boltons Burnden Park, 0-1 in 1996 (because they got relegated that season), we stayed up on GD, however they played the entire next season at Burnden Park winning their final competitive fixture 4-1 against Charlton.

    - We were the penultimate game at Sunderlands Roker Park in 1997, and the last away team to win there, 0-1, but Sunderland won their actual last game a few weeks later against Everton 3-0.

    - We were also the last away team to win at White Hart Lane 1-2 in 2016 because although they played the entire next season at White Hart Lane, they didn't lose any of them...

    That will do I think.

Really looking forward to this. Going up on Saturday to make a couple of days of it.

Think this could end up being the earliest I've ever got to a game. Can see it being utter chaos around the ground close to kick off so am gonna aim to arrive between half ten and eleven.

Would be amazing if we could sneak a win but think it's more likely we get battered.

1-1 to us. I'll post my other prediction when Archie gets the other thread up.

1-3 away win for the super soaraway Saints. It's possible, not probable

I’ve never been more confident that we will win, lose or draw and that both teams might score

I go along with it being a game of two halves with the team that scores the most goals awarded the win and three points. Should the game be a draw it's a point each. I knows about stuff does I.

Most teams do a friendly after the last league game don't they? We did against Brighton.

The women's team playing there doesn't count imo as nobody cares about women's football if we're honest.

Would assume they'll knock down and rebuild parts of it too.

But is it really quite the same as being the last ever game there? Not for me. I'm sure the Everton fans will still make a song and dance about it but it's no longer the "last ever game" at Goodison Park.

Basically is in terms of how the stadium's been used since 1892 or whenever it is. 2k people rocking up for a women's game is not remotely the same. Especially when they start knocking bits down and rebuilding it.

On another note I think it's pretty cool that they'll have 3 stadiums in the City which they played at. Must be pretty unique?

We do need @Archers Road to put up the second thread now, or we'll upset the draw gods.

    1 thread for a loss, 2 for a draw, 3 for a win?
