    The level of clunge around Brighton increases 75% in this weather.

    10k steps in the bank for today. Get another 12k in between the watchable games and hit 30k for the day with other bits. Going to be looking like prime Heskey tomorrow for what will be an absolutely ****e day of important meetings and working out how to sort out a **** up I made months ago which has come to light.

    Scared to look at my bank account after last night.

    The meal was £100 each, but 2 bottles of wine and three courses in that, so no problem at all.

    It was the cost of double G&T's at the Arena, best part of £40 a round and I got two rounds in there and one round of Monkey 47's back at El Pescador after.

    Silly money for booze.

    The bright sun was extinguish'd, and the stars
    Did wander darkling in the eternal space,
    Rayless, and pathless, and the icy earth
    Swung blind and blackening in the moonless air;
    Morn came and went—and came, and brought no day,

    Pope is on the TV again. Why is it still getting so much coverage? We ain’t a catholic country, I don’t get it.

    The Church of England wasn't a scion of other religions ... <whistle>

    ... but that's not the real point either...

    Irrespective of your religion, or whether you believe or not, the Pope is one of the world's most renowned public figures... bang up there with the King of England and Claudio Ranieri ...

    Yeah something like 1.4 billion Catholics in the world, so it's a popular gig being Pope

    With all those cardinals lined up together, the police are using it as an identity parade.

    No it’s not. Everyone that likes football is interested in Real Madrid. Most religious people don’t give a **** about the pope.
