Charlton one of the few London grounds along with yours I've not done so would be happy for them to come up. Think after those it's only the really small ones I have left. No doubt Nathan Jones will do the double over us though.
Class mate. I tried to do a £1 lucky 31 but it wouldn’t let me for some reason, so used the £30 to do 10 x £3 doubles which worked out way better for me. £612 return.
Great away end. Easy enough journey. Wycombe’s ground is an odd location and a bit of an arse to get to. Orient would be good too. Stockport is a great ground and simple on the train but preferably not.
Overall I think your draw today is probably not a bad result for us either. Whilst both Arsenal and Newcastle will want to win next week, if it's a tight game I can see it slowing down into a draw as it benefits both teams (we'd edge closer to Champions League qualification and you'd guarantee it, plus you'd be second in the league going into a final game against Southampton). Obviously I'd take a draw now despite the lure of going 2nd if we win.
Should be a decent game and whilst I agree that the scenario you outline would benefit both teams in terms of CL qualification, I think both teams will go out to try and win it.
For all of Forest’s hard work this season it looks like they are gonna miss out on European football.
If you had told Nottingham Forest fans in August that a point in their penultimate home game of the season would guarantee them European qualification, most would have bitten your hand off. Now, however, after it looked as if Chris Wood’s diving header had lifted them into fifth place, Facundo Buonanotte’s late equaliser means that Champions League qualification is out of their hands. Qualifying for the Europa League (or Conference League) is no mean feat for Nuno Espírito Santo’s team but, having been sitting pretty in third place for the middle part of the season, it seems like a comedown now.
No one expected them to be up there at the beginning of the season, but when you are within touching distance of a Champions League place, it is massively disappointing and is likely costing the owner millions in failure - but maybe it comes down to the fact they just aint good enough and reality is now staring the manager and the owner smack in the face. I know the other little European places are still on the table, but to miss out on a place in the grand prize has to be gutting. Personally I think Forest, Chelsea and Villa have all been way too inconsistent and that Premier League table tonight rightly reflects that.
Haven't seen it again, but LIverpool's 2nd looked offside to me in real time. Anybody got a clip of it ?
If it had been a dodgy offside goal against Liverpool we'd have had 48 posts from Sucky about it by now with multiple angles. Anyway, had another look. It looks like Saliba is playing him on, just. But it's not conclusive from the angle. Surprised VAR didn't even bother to check it.
