    Santon - Simmo - Perch - Raylor
    is my back 4 (I'm assuming Colo will not be fit)
    If he is, drop Raylor and have Santon LB instead.
    Cabaye and Gosling in midfield.
    Benny and Ba up front.

    That's a very easy set of home fixtures so far. They've beaten Sunderland, Swansea and QPR, which is fair enough as their own away form ain't great.

    Stoke and Blackburn are arguably worse sides when they're playing away, yet they only managed draws.

    And West Brom and Arsenal obviously won.

    Imo, even with our CBs out, this will be the second toughest test they've faced beside Arsenal. I personally don't understand why some of them are so confident.

    As for the back 4:

    Simpson - Perch - Santon - Raylor

    It's absolutely pointless putting any of the full backs into the CB spots. They're the only settled defenders left, so why introduce two unsettled players and then unsettle the remaining two as well? It makes no sense.

    at the start of the season i'd have took 1 point, three weeks ago i'd have wanted all 3 points, and ive not lost confidence in our ability but with the defensive injuries (from now on known as perchuries, as they force him to play) im leaning back towards 1 point being ok.

    can we settle on two points each?

    Simpson said in an interview on ssn today that he's prepared to play CB and is expected to be told to do that. Wouldn't want to see the unsettled Santon start in an unfamiliar position anyway.

    Simpson and Perch is by no means a good central defensive partnership but I think it's the best we can do.
