That’s what people seem to be forgetting. It’s not like Palace are fighting for anything yet their players have put in a decent performance while Spurs have rested too many players and barely working. It’s just not good enough.
Untrue. Some of their players should be fighting for a place on the FA cup team sheet. *** As similarly should be so for Spurs and the EL. *** Unless the manager has already decided that, and nothing other than team-mate injury changes it.
True, yeah unfortunately we know Ange has his favourites but you’d still hope the fringe players would have played their arses off to try and give him a selection dilemma
Smattering of boos art FT. 20 league defeats - a very much unwanted record. I expect it to be beaten again before the season is over.
To be fair, if certain players weren't rested, and then got injured, certain people would be calling for Ange's head. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. He's in a no-win situation. Unless, of course, he wins.
Yes it will be 22 by the end of season and probably 2 wins in our last 14 home league matches! (and 6 home league wins all season)
20 league defeats … and yet still 16 points ahead of the team below us. Words literally can’t describe how bad the bottom 3 must be.
Apart from that little run of three wins in Feb, this season has been a monstrosity. How anyone can argue Ange should stay, even if we win the EL, is beyond me.
I think we'll both lose our final two games so I'll say an early congratulations on sealing 16th place. Magnificent achievement.
Depends if they win the Final then the atmosphere will be at another level against Brighton. Lose however.... That was beyond poor for quite a few of them. Bissouma and Bentancur were ok as was Tel. As for the rest, completely outplayed throughout. Now let me find a KFC to ease the drive back....
Early indications are that Kulusevski's injury isn't too bad. Cue a three month absence followed by surgery, returning to action in late spring 2026.
Just watched the highlights. No idea what Porro is doing for their first goal. He leaves Eze to run across directly in front of Kinsky, leaving the latter stuck and the former completely free for a tap in. Danso and Bissouma at fault for the second.
