Btw if we make Wembley. Are the tickets usually sold the same as other tickets on the club site where you can manage tickets for people in your network etc?

I'm pretty sure that will be the case.

IIRC the max number of tickets you could buy was 5.

£15.50 pre book for Coventry Arena parking
    WTF
They close the main road the A444 so no one can leave until the Away coaches are gone

Spent my day on the allotment. My little old oasis and amongst good people. One of my neighbours on the plot is a 78 year old lad who is as fit as a bloody lop. He gives me all sorts, helps me, and I try to reciprocate by giving him greenhouse plants ready to go. I put a couple of courgette under his bench for him midweek eg. Today I am pottering about, and he comes over with 2 cans of beer. He calls me Geordie boy, and despite me explaining he cant wrap his head round it. I let it go. Geordie boy, he says, lets sit and have a beer because your team were good last night. We sit on my bench and talk crap. Happy days. Just makes me think folk around the country like us daft folk from the NE.

Does that include customer numbers that aren’t season ticket holders in your network?

You'll only be able to buy for season ticket holders that you have the right to manage.

You'll then be able to do it again for non season ticket holders once it goes to general sale.

I haven't read any posts on here about last night's game but after watching the highlights multiple times today I'd just like to say that Jobe's last ditch intervention at the end was literally priceless.

Regis Le Bris explains Dan Ballard selection call in Coventry win

    upload_2025-5-10_21-46-11.jpeg

    https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/s...ains-dan-ballard-selection-call-coventry-win/

“Chris Mepham has been really impressive this season and played a lot of football,” said Le Bris. “Every player in our backline has their own qualities and I think that in this scenario, against this team, in a semi-final, away from home especially, we needed that physicality in the box. Dan Ballard was ready to come back in and manage this situation properly.”

As well as recalling Ballard to the starting line-up, Le Bris also opted to change formation to 4-4-2 and pair Wilson Isidor and Eliezer Mayenda in attack.

Again, his changes worked perfectly, with Sunderland’s remodelled shape successfully neutering the Coventry attack, and both Isidor and Mayenda scoring in the Black Cats’ win.

“We used it (the 4-4-2 formation) during the season,” said Le Bris. “Not often, but it was always in my mind that we could do this. It’s always connected with the scenario of the opponent, and in the end it was a good decision.”

Sunderland’s first away win against Coventry in 40 years means that they find themselves in the driving seat ahead of Tuesday’s second leg.

Provided Le Bris’ side avoid defeat at the Stadium of Light, they will be heading to Wembley to take on either Sheffield United or Bristol City, with the former strong favourites to progress after winning the first leg of their semi-final 3-0 at Ashton Gate.

Sunderland’s players will start as favourites themselves on Tuesday, with Le Bris confident that there will be no risk of complacency in the wake of last night’s away win.

“I didn’t even need to say this to the players,” he said. “The players were ready there to say 'It's just halfway'. They know that there is another game to play, a tough game. First of all, recover properly, then train properly. It is a different scenario, anything can happen in football, so we have to be ready. The players know this.”

Like I said earlier Enzo was moving inside a lot and Ejwik was never sure where he was (Enzo was behind him on this occasion) as he tracked him for first goal when Wilson scored. Just think the lad was not sure who was playing where and this led to his indecision with the back pass. Mayenda had moved wider left and and anticipated perfectly what was happening and capitalised wonderfully.

Watching the full match again on You Tube and here's a thought. RLB brought Mepham on and went 3 at the back, now was that just to ensure we keep it tight at the back or is it a hint as how we might set up on Tuesday? Or was he just making Lampard have second or even third thoughts as to how we might set up?

He’s done that a few times this season to close games out (not always successfully and would have likely failed again but for Jobe’s tackle) so wouldn’t read too much into it. I reckon we’ll go the same again as the scenario is better for us to counter attack as they have to score.
